The Design

The conductors are OCC-7N solid silver, 12 gauge (3mm2), ample capacity for power amplifiers as well as sources. OCC stands for Ohno Continuous Casting, which grows each strand as a nearly continuous crystal, and 7N means 99.99999% pure.

They're arranged in Fluxfield, Wireworld's flat power-cord geometry. Wireworld designs its power cords to work as filters, absorbing noise along their length, which is why Wireworld recommends two meters or more for the best results. COMPOSILEX 5 insulation, Wireworld's own material, surrounds the conductors, and the plugs use OCC silver-clad copper contacts. The flat design coils easily, so it routes neatly behind equipment.

Standard termination is a US wall plug to IEC C13, the inlet most audio components use, and the cord is VDE certified for safety.
