Bi-wire loudspeakers let the woofer and tweeter connect to the amplifier separately, so the woofer's heavy current demands stay apart from the delicate signal feeding the tweeter. The Au24 SX bi-wire set does that with Audience's acclaimed Au24 SX design.

The Design

Au24 SX was Audience's flagship before frontRow, and it remains one of the most acclaimed cables the company has built. Every conductor is 99.9999% pure (6N) OCC copper, insulated in high-grade cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) and laid in Audience's Perfect Lay geometry: fine strands laid flat, side by side, rather than braided or twisted. Audience keeps the mass of each conductor and the jacketing to a minimum, a low-mass approach designed to reduce the eddy currents that smear transients and dull fine detail. Every Au24 SX cable is double cryogenically treated in Audience's own lab and handmade in San Marcos, California.
