2. We'll Discuss Your System I'll ask about your current components, your room, and what you're trying to achieve. With nearly 50 years of experience, I can often provide insights that will help you get the most from your evaluation period.
3. I'll Ship the Product Once we've confirmed the evaluation, I'll ship the component to you at no charge. You'll receive tracking information.
4. You Evaluate Thoroughly Take the full 14 days. The item should be broken in, but we can allow extra time to break it in properly if it is not. Listen critically. Compare to what you have. Make notes.
5. Make Your Decision If it's transformative and exactly what you needed - keep it and enjoy! If it's not quite right - return it to Tweek Geek and your only out the cost of shipping. Either way, you've made an informed decision based on real-world performance.

Q: Why do you cover shipping TO me but not return shipping?
A: I want to remove the barrier to trying products, so I cover outbound shipping. Return shipping at your expense ensures that evaluations are conducted seriously and thoughtfully. It's a small investment in making the right decision on a significant purchase.
Q: What if I buy without auditioning and then want to return it?
A: You'll receive store credit rather than a refund. This is why I strongly encourage the evaluation program - it gives you true risk-free decision making with full refund potential.
Q: Can I audition multiple products at once?
A: Typically one at a time works best for focused evaluation. However, if you're considering multiple components (e.g., comparing two different power conditioners), contact me and we can discuss options.
Q: What if I damage the product during audition?
A: Normal audition use is expected and fine. If accidental damage occurs, contact me immediately. We'll work something out - I'm reasonable and understand accidents happen.
Q: How long does it really take to properly evaluate a component?
A: For most components, 7-10 days is sufficient. This allows for proper break-in (if needed) and multiple listening sessions. Some components (especially cables and power products) can continue to improve beyond two weeks, but you'll have heard enough to know if you're on the right track.
Q: Do I need to contact you before returning a product?
A: Yes, please. Contact me first so we can discuss what you experienced and ensure I receive the return promptly. I may also have setup tips or suggestions that could help.
Q: Why don't you offer this on used products?
A: Used and demo products are sold as-is at reduced prices. The price reduction reflects the "as-is" nature of the sale. All used products are tested and described accurately, but final sales help keep prices competitive on pre-owned gear.
