Audience's frontRow cables earned their reputation by sounding like music rather than like cable. The frontRow Reserve RCA takes that same natural, full-bodied sound and opens it up: more air, faster transients, and a deeper silence for the music to come out of. The Design

Audience built the Reserve on its award-winning frontRow cables, then blended a judicious amount of high-purity silver into frontRow's proven copper conductor geometry. Copper brings warmth and natural tonal weight; the silver adds speed, openness, and top-end detail. The result keeps everything listeners love about frontRow and lets more of the music through.

Audience also embeds its own formulation of natural crystal materials inside the cable, tuned to absorb high-frequency noise, and wraps everything in a new EMI/RFI-resistant outer sleeve with additional internal shielding. Less noise means a blacker background, so the small details of a recording, the room reverb, the breath before a phrase, the decay of a cymbal, come forward on their own.

How It Sounds

Audience describes the Reserve as shedding more light on the musical event, especially from the lower midrange up, with instruments and voices more fleshed out and more immediate. Positive Feedback's Myles B. Astor heard the same thing: a much lower noise floor, better dynamics, and dazzling speed compared with Audience's earlier cables.
