Audience Forte F5 PowerChord
Audience Forte F5 PowerChord
The forte f5 builds on more than two decades of Audience power cord design to deliver improved sound quality and a lower noise floor. Audience's president, John McDonald, calls it an ideal upgrade for high-quality audio and home entertainment systems, and especially when you're replacing a stock cord.
Twenty years of power cord design, at an exemplary price.
The Design
The forte f5 builds on a selection of long-term proprietary Audience designs. Its six-conductor interface rejects noise, supporting a well-balanced, musical presentation, and Audience cryogenically treats each cord using its own process. Like all Audience products, it's handmade in San Marcos, California.
The EHVP Boost
You can add Audience's Extreme High Voltage Process to any f5. EHVP applies high voltage to the conductors in specific combinations, to align the crystalline structure of the metals and help the signal transfer more efficiently.
How It Sounds
Audience built the f5 to improve audio quality and lower the noise floor, with a well-balanced, musical presentation. Its six-conductor design is aimed at rejecting noise before it reaches your components.
Where It Fits
Use the f5 on source components, DACs, streamers, preamps, and power distributors. It sits between the forte f3 and the Studio ONE powerChord in Audience's lineup. Choose the EHVP boost if you want more from the cord.
Press Recognition
- Audience introduced the forte f5 in November 2022, with president John McDonald describing it as an ideal upgrade from stock power cords. Reviews of this model are on the way, and we’ll add them here as they’re published.
