SteinMusic Ground Cube Signature

Every audio system has a ground, and a noisy one clouds the music no matter how good the components are. The Ground Cube Signature gives your system its own quiet reference point to drain interference into. SteinMusic says the effect is audible within minutes, with no modifications to your equipment.

The Design

The Ground Cube Signature is a special ground box with no connection to mains earth. It's a passive, specialized ground element, and SteinMusic is clear that it's not a grounding system. You connect selected ground points in your system to it with the included SteinMusic cable, which lets interference flow straight into the Ground Cube. Unlike conventional solutions, it doesn't tie into the often polluted ground of a building, which SteinMusic says removes ground loops and installation problems and creates a stable, clean electrical environment for playback.

The 1.2 m cable is developed in-house and braided on SteinMusic's own machines: 61 individually insulated strands, a cotton braid, gold-plated beryllium-copper hollow bananas, and Swiss conductor quality, assembled by hand.

What You Hear

SteinMusic describes four effects. The background turns blacker and micro-detail finer, with longer decay phases, a clearer atmosphere, and more low-level information. Timing, tone, and texture blend into a natural coherence without spotlighting. Imaging sharpens and gains depth, with a more stable focus on voices and instruments and cleaner layering. And the sound gains musical density without fatigue, which makes it suited to long listening.
