Hapa Audio Ember RCA
Hapa Audio Ember RCA
Ember is Hapa Audio's entry-level copper interconnect, and in Hapa's lineup that means a cable built with the same care as the rest: braided copper conductor, braided copper shield, and KLEI Copper Harmony RCA plugs, assembled by hand.
Hapa's house design, at its entry price.
The Design
Hapa Audio is a small cable maker in Aurora, Colorado, founded by Jason Wong in 2020. Hapa summarizes its design philosophy as Low Mass Language: less is more. The Ember reflects it with simple, honest construction, a braided copper conductor, and a braided copper shield. A step up to KLEI Absolute Harmony plugs with Mundorf silver/gold solder is available.
How It Sounds
Hapa positions the Ember as the way into its house sound, before moving up to the Aero or Haiku. We'll add our own listening notes as we gather them.
Where It Fits
Use it between source and preamplifier, or preamplifier and amplifier, in a system where the rest of the chain costs about what a cable of this level suggests. If your system warrants it, the Aero Cu is Hapa's step up. Tweek Geek offers in-home auditions nationwide.
Press Recognition
Reviews of the Ember RCA are on the way, and we'll add them here as they're published.
Questions about whether to start with Ember or step up to the Aero Cu? Give us a call. The answer depends on what you're running and what the rest of your system costs.
