Hapa Ember XLR offre une présentation neutre, musicale et dynamique avec un faible bruit de fond. Faire ressortir les détails musicaux qui lui donnent cette sensation d’espace holographique. Une valeur fantastique dans une interconnexion audiophile.

Hapa Audio Ember XLR

The Ember XLR takes the internal design of the Ember RCA and applies it to a balanced connection: an eight-wire copper and Teflon braid packet, with AECO XLR connectors at both ends, assembled by hand.

The Ember design, in balanced form.

The Design

Hapa Audio is a small cable maker in Aurora, Colorado, founded by Jason Wong in 2020. The Ember's internal braid packet arranges its conductors to provide noise cancellation as part of the cable's structure, instead of relying entirely on an outer shield. In the XLR version, that geometry works with the balanced interface, where the receiving end's differential input adds further common-mode rejection. Connectors are AECO XLR, in gold plating or rhodium plating, with Mundorf silver/gold solder.

How It Sounds

Hapa positions the Ember XLR as the balanced entry point to its house sound. We'll add our own listening notes as we gather them.

Where It Fits

Choose XLR where your components offer balanced connections, particularly on longer runs. For a single-ended connection, see the Ember RCA. Tweek Geek offers in-home auditions nationwide.
