The Design

Studio TWO is Audience's step beyond the much-loved OHNO, built with geometry and construction techniques borrowed liberally from its top-tier designs. The USB version blends silver and copper conductors: silver-plated copper in high-density polyethylene insulation, shielded against EMI and RFI, with a proprietary noise-reduction circuit on the power line. Audience treats each cable with cryogenic and Extreme High Voltage Process (EHVP) treatments, and finishes it with gold-plated connectors. Like every Audience cable, it's lightweight and flexible, directional (look for the gold arrow), and handmade in San Marcos, California.

How It Sounds

Reviewers hear it right away. 10Audio found deeper tonal depth and a better soundstage image than a long-time reference USB cable, and Audiophile Heaven heard more space between instruments, better definition, and a lower noise floor, with the biggest jumps on DACs that are sensitive to USB cable quality.
