Wireworld Micro-Silver Eclipse 10 Tonearm Cable

A phono cartridge produces the smallest signal in your system, often a fraction of a millivolt, and the tonearm cable carries it before any amplification happens. Whatever that cable adds gets amplified along with the music. The Micro-Silver Eclipse 10 brings the award-winning Silver Eclipse sound to that most delicate connection.

The Silver Eclipse sound, from the groove to your phono stage.

The Design

The conductors are OCC-7N copper clad in silver. OCC stands for Ohno Continuous Casting, which grows each strand as a nearly continuous crystal, and 7N means 99.99999% pure. The silver surface carries fine detail with ease, and the copper core keeps tone full and natural.

They're woven in Wireworld's DNA Helix geometry, which Wireworld designs to reject interference. COMPOSILEX 5, Wireworld's own insulation, is engineered to minimize the static noise that insulation itself can create. At phono levels, a quieter cable means a blacker background and more of the fine detail in the groove.

How It Sounds

Expect the Silver Eclipse character on vinyl: high resolution, natural tone, and lifelike dynamics, with the low-level detail that makes records feel alive.

Configurations

  • Female DIN plug to two RCAs (SET), for phono stages with single-ended inputs
  • Female DIN plug to two XLRs (SBT), for balanced phono stages
  • RCA to RCA with external ground wire (SRT), for tonearms with RCA outputs

Most tonearms with a DIN output need a straight DIN plug; some arm bases call for an angled plug to clear the plinth. To confirm, check which way your tonearm's socket faces, or give us a call.

Where It Fits

The Micro-Silver Eclipse 10 sits between the Micro-Eclipse 10 and the Micro-Platinum Eclipse 10 in Wireworld's tonearm cables. It's an ideal match for a quality cartridge and phono stage, and for a system already using Silver Eclipse 10 interconnects.

Press Recognition

The Silver Eclipse 10 series earned a Product of the Year Award from The Absolute Sound, and reviews of this tonearm version are on the way. We'll add them here as they're published.
