Bybee V2+

The V2+ grew out of a legitimate customer concern with the original V2: the lithium ion watch batteries powering the active circuit were not user-replaceable. The batteries should last ten years or more, but audiophiles reasonably want a product they can service indefinitely. The V2+ solves that with a user-accessible CR2032 battery socket and a USB-C charging port. Same V2 circuit. Forever product.

The V2 Circuit

The original Bybee V2 introduced an active circuit element to Bybee's AC purification approach — a battery-powered stage that adds an active component to what had been a passive technology. The result was a meaningful step forward from the original AC bullets and Holographic adapters in terms of what it does to the noise floor and the dimensionality of the presentation. Plug it into any available AC outlet. The active circuit draws minimal current from the battery.

What Changed in the V2+

The irreplaceable watch batteries are replaced by a standard CR2032 socket that any user can service. A USB-C port is added for charging. The connectors are upgraded — Furutech quality level. The sonic character is the same as the original V2.
