Every brand in this collection passed the same test: we put it in a system and listened. Not a press release, not a spec sheet, not a manufacturer's demo at a show. A real system, in a real room, against real competition. If it didn't earn its place that way, it didn't make the cut. TweekGeek has been operating this way since 2003. We're a small shop, which means we can't carry everything — and we don't try to. What we carry reflects what we've actually heard, what we believe in, and what we're willing to stake our reputation on when a customer calls us six months after the sale. That's a short list by design. The components here span amplification, digital sources, phono stages, power conditioning, and networking. The brands are different. The price points vary. What they share is that someone here has spent real time with each one — in our reference system, in customers' homes, often both. We know what they do well, what they don't, and which systems they belong in. We also know that buying a component is rarely a simple transaction. It's a question of system fit, room acoustics, listening preferences, budget priorities, and what you're starting from. We're happy to work through all of that before you spend a dollar. In-home auditions are available for most of what you see here, because we think that's the only honest way to sell serious audio equipment.
