Audio Magic Blue Dot Ground Disrupter
Audio Magic Blue Dot Ground Disrupter
Ground noise is pervasive and easy to miss. It doesn't announce itself with a hum you can point to — it shows up as a slightly compressed soundstage, a vague hardness in the upper mids, a sense that something is just a little off. The Audio Magic Blue Dot addresses it passively, using Pulse Generation technology to clean the ground plane without touching the signal path.
How It Works
The Blue Dot uses Audio Magic's proprietary Pulse Generation technology to disrupt and dissipate ground-borne noise and EMF/RFI. No power required. Plug it into an available input or outlet and let it work. That's it.
Our Take
We've had Audio Magic products in our reference system for a long time. Jerry Ramsey's ground disrupters consistently do what they claim — the background gets quieter, imaging tightens, and the presentation becomes more coherent. The Blue Dot is the entry point. At $299 used, it's absolutely worth trying before dismissing.
Press Recognition
Audio Magic has been reviewed by Positive Feedback and 6moons over the years. We're not aware of a dedicated English-language review of the Blue Dot specifically, but Ramsey's work has a documented track record in the press and a devoted following among listeners who've actually used it.
