Bybee Holographic AC Adapter
Bybee Holographic AC Adapter
We built this around 2015, and it earned a StereoTimes Most Wanted Component Award at a retail price of around $2,750. The technology hasn't changed. Bybee's AC purifiers are still the same devices they were then — and still among the most effective AC conditioning approaches we've encountered in 25 years of doing this.
8/10 condition with minor wear and scratches. No box or manual. Non-smoking environment. Free shipping, no sales tax.
The Construction
Carbon fiber tube with a Furutech NCF IEC input connector. Inside the tube, Bybee Crystal AC purifiers wired on hot, neutral, and ground — all three legs treated. The wire connecting the Bybee devices to the Furutech connector is 10AWG OCC copper. The Furutech NCF connectors came after the original StereoTimes review, which was written with earlier connectors — consider this an improved production version of what was reviewed.
Press Recognition
StereoTimes reviewed the Bybee Holographic AC Adapter and named it a Most Wanted Component. The original review is still available at stereotimes.com. The reviewer noted significant improvements in spatial presentation, background noise floor, and overall musical naturalness. The Furutech NCF connectors in this unit represent an upgrade over the review sample.
