The Micro-Silver Eclipse 10 gives that link OCC-7N silver-clad conductors at the precise 110-ohm impedance the format requires, in a slim cable that routes easily behind a crowded rack.

The Design

The conductors are 26-gauge OCC-7N copper clad in silver. OCC stands for Ohno Continuous Casting, which grows each strand as a nearly continuous crystal, and 7N means 99.99999% pure.

They're arranged in Wireworld's DNA Helix geometry, built to 110 ohms, the AES/EBU standard. Holding that impedance steady keeps reflections down, so the digital signal arrives with clean edges and stable timing, and your DAC's receiver has an easier job. COMPOSILEX 5, Wireworld's own insulation, is engineered to minimize the static noise that insulation itself can create. Contacts are silver-clad copper alloy.
