Audience frontRow S/PDIF Cable
Audience frontRow S/PDIF Cable
A coaxial digital cable carries every bit of your music from transport or streamer to DAC. The frontRow S/PDIF gives that link Audience's frontRow technologies, so your DAC starts with the cleanest signal it can.
A cleaner coaxial link from source to DAC.
The Design
frontRow is where Audience introduced MORRE (Musically Optimized Reduction of Resistive Energy), the umbrella for its most advanced technologies, and where it reserves its Proprietary Metallurgy Technology (PMT). Audience likens PMT to the rifling in a barrel: it treats the 99.9999% pure OCC copper conductors so the signal travels a freer, more direct path. Every frontRow cable then goes through Audience's Extreme High Voltage Process (EHVP) and deep cryogenic treatment, and each is handmade in San Marcos, California.
How It Sounds
Audience voices frontRow to bring you closer to the performance: a remarkably low noise floor, lifelike tone and texture, and a holographic sense of space. Reviewers have heard the same, with Positive Feedback describing unbridled transparency and The Absolute Sound placing frontRow among the very best.
Where It Fits
Use it between a CD transport, streamer, or digital-to-digital converter and a DAC with RCA coaxial connections. For BNC, see the frontRow BNC S/PDIF cable.
Press Recognition
- The frontRow series has been widely reviewed. Positive Feedback’s John Acton (Issue 134, June 2024) described unbridled transparency from the frontRow interconnects and speaker cables, and The Absolute Sound’s Neil Gader placed them among the very best he had ever experienced. Reviews of this model are on the way, and we’ll add them here as they’re published.
