Hapa Audio Aero AG RCA Interconnect
The Aero AG is the silver-conductor version of Hapa Audio's Aero platform — the same Aerogel dielectric and design philosophy as the Aero Cu, with a nano-polished pure UPOCC silver conductor at the center rather than copper.
The Silver Conductor
Pure UPOCC silver, nano-polished using the same process Hapa developed for the Haiku. The nano-polishing is a meticulous surface treatment of the conductor itself — not a coating but a physical improvement of the contact surface. Silver's higher conductivity compared to copper means lower resistance-based distortion and faster signal transfer. The AG version of the Aero consistently retrieves more top-end detail and spatial information than the Cu version while maintaining the balanced, neutral character that defines the Hapa Audio house sound.
The Aerogel Dielectric
Pure Aerogel surrounding the conductor — 99.8% air, the most acoustically transparent dielectric material available. No conventional insulation in contact with the signal path. Hapa holds the patent on this application; no one else currently manufactures a cable with a true Aerogel dielectric at this scale.
The Shield
Litz silver wire shielding. The Litz construction minimizes eddy currents in the shield, reducing noise pickup without the capacitance that a solid-wrap shield would add around the Aerogel dielectric.
Press Recognition
The Hapa Audio Aero line has been reviewed by Part Time Audiophile, where the Aerogel dielectric was cited as a genuine advance and the house sound described as exceptionally transparent and natural. In-home auditions are available nationwide through Tweek Geek.
