SteinMusic Super Naturals Signature
SteinMusic Super Naturals Signature
Every component in your system vibrates, and what happens to that energy decides how calm and open the music sounds. The Super Naturals Signature are SteinMusic's resonance-draining feet for components and loudspeakers, built to give that energy a way out. Each set of three takes 130 production steps and is handmade in Germany.
Drain the resonance, keep the music.
The Sound Principle
SteinMusic's idea is ground instead of damp. Resonances occur in every audio device. According to SteinMusic, damping them takes energy away from the music, and isolating a device traps the resonances inside its housing. The Super Naturals Signature instead gives them an outlet: they conduct the resonances from the component into the ground and keep the surface from reflecting them back. The device sits quietly and stably, and the music keeps its structure. The large contact area helps carry resonances away, and SteinMusic says, unlike soft rubber feet, these feet don't store energy, while the small contact area of spikes allows only limited energy exchange.
The Construction
Each set combines two woods, African zebrano and Italian olive wood, with ceramic elements attached to the wood through vacuum-impregnated felt pads. SteinMusic says the ceramic dissipates energy quickly, the felt is stabilized with a vacuum lacquer instead of simply damped, and the wood adds a natural tone. A customized version of the SteinMusic E-Pads works together with the ceramic.
What You Hear
SteinMusic says the Super Naturals Signature follows the characteristic Super Naturals sound and gives the music even more room to unfold. The sound becomes calmer and more open, voices and instruments can be tracked more precisely in the soundstage, and musical structures appear clearer and more natural.
How to Use Them
- Each set has three feet: two darker zebrano and one lighter olive wood. The gold metal ring always faces up.
- Use them under CD players, turntables, amplifiers, power supplies, power bars, and speakers.
- Give them direct contact with the chassis, and if the device's own feet are higher, remove them where you can.
- On equipment with uneven weight, place the olive wood foot under the heaviest area and let the two zebrano feet balance the rest. SteinMusic says an even load matters more than a symmetrical layout.
- Under loudspeakers, put the olive wood foot at the front center and the two zebrano feet at the rear, left and right.
A set of three supports up to 150 kg, enough for a complete hi-fi rack. The feet are very stable under vertical load and sensitive to lateral movement, so place components straight down from above, or lift them before moving.
Where It Fits
Choose the Super Naturals Signature when you want a calmer, more open presentation from a source, amplifier, power supply, or speakers without touching the electronics. The Super Naturals Matrix is SteinMusic's top tier, with an added E-Pad layer. We're happy to help you decide how many sets you need and where to place them.
