Wireworld Mini Eclipse 10 Speaker Cable

Plenty of great systems have little room for a garden-hose speaker cable. Bookshelf speakers, studio monitors, and in-wall installations need something slim and flexible that still sounds like a high-end cable. Wireworld calls the Mini Eclipse 10 its compact reference cable, and it brings pure OCC-7N copper and the DNA Helix design to exactly those systems.

The Design

Each polarity carries 2.5mm2 (13 gauge) of pure OCC-7N copper. OCC stands for Ohno Continuous Casting, which grows each strand as a nearly continuous crystal, and 7N means 99.99999% pure.

The conductors are arranged in Wireworld's patented Quad DNA Helix geometry, four helically woven groups per polarity. Wireworld designs the DNA Helix to cancel interference and spread the signal's energy evenly through the cable. COMPOSILEX 5, Wireworld's own insulation, is engineered to minimize the static noise that insulation itself can create.

The cable is UL-CL3/FT4 rated for in-wall installation, and Wireworld can finish it with shrink tubing instead of plug shells for easier routing through walls. Contacts are silver-clad OFC, with spades or bananas.

How It Sounds

Expect a rich, dynamic sound from a cable you can tuck out of sight: full-bodied copper tone, clean detail, and real energy from compact speakers.

Single-Wire or Bi-Wire

Choose single-wire (MES) for speakers with one pair of binding posts. Choose bi-wire (MEB) for speakers with separate bass and treble inputs.

The Mini Eclipse 10 is made for bookshelf and compact speakers, studio monitors, home theater, and in-wall runs. It sits below the full-size Eclipse 10, which doubles the copper for large floorstanders and demanding amplifiers.
