The Innuos Next-Gen FLOW MSB ProISL Module is a dedicated output module for the Next-Gen FLOW, enabling native ProISL connection to compatible MSB DACs. Replaces the standard USB output with MSB's own digital protocol. Benefits from the FLOW's 3ppb OCXO reclocking, 300VA ARC6 power supply, and dedicated CX-regulated output module power. Sold separately from the Next-Gen FLOW core unit.

Innuos Next-Gen FLOW — MSB ProISL Module

For use with the Innuos NextGen Flow

The Next-Gen FLOW's modular output architecture exists for exactly this situation: you own an MSB DAC with ProISL connectivity, and you want to feed it from a precision reclocker without using a generic USB or S/PDIF interface in between. The MSB ProISL Module replaces the standard output stage of the Next-Gen FLOW with MSB's own native digital protocol, creating a direct connection between the FLOW's reclocked output and the DAC's preferred input.

ProISL is MSB's proprietary high-speed serial interface, designed to outperform conventional S/PDIF and USB connections by eliminating the format conversions and electrical compromises those standards carry. When the FLOW speaks ProISL natively, nothing is translated. The reclocked signal from the FLOW's 3ppb OCXO clock arrives at the DAC in the form the DAC was designed to receive.

How it fits into the signal path

The signal path with the MSB ProISL Module in place is straightforward. The digital source — a ZEN Next-Gen, ZENith Next-Gen, STATEMENT, or any USB audio source — connects to the FLOW's USB input. The FLOW receives that signal, strips its timing, and regenerates it from the internal 3ppb OCXO master clock. The MSB ProISL Module then transmits that reclocked signal to the MSB DAC over the ProISL interface. The USB connection that would otherwise link source to DAC is replaced entirely by this chain, and the DAC receives a signal of a fundamentally different quality than USB alone can deliver.

Power

The output module section has its own dedicated CX-regulated power supply within the Next-Gen FLOW — separate from the clock supply and the USB input stage. The 300VA transformer and ARC6 active rectification that anchor the FLOW's power architecture provide the foundation; the dedicated regulation at the module level ensures that the output stage operates from a stable, isolated supply regardless of what else is happening in the unit.

Compatibility

The MSB ProISL Module is compatible with MSB DACs that feature ProISL input connectivity. Confirm compatibility with your specific MSB DAC model before ordering — ProISL is available on MSB's higher-tier products but not universally across the range. The module is designed exclusively for the Next-Gen FLOW and is not compatible with the NazaréFLOW or other Innuos products.

Where it fits

For MSB DAC owners building or completing an Innuos source chain, the ProISL Module is the final connection that closes the loop between the FLOW's precision reclocking and the DAC's native input. Without it, the FLOW feeds the DAC via a standard interface and the ProISL input goes unused. With it, the entire chain — from network to streamer to reclocker to DAC — operates at the level each component was designed for.

The module is sold separately from the Next-Gen FLOW core unit. Both are available Q4 2026.
