IsoAcoustics GAIA F1 Speaker Jack
IsoAcoustics GAIA F1 Speaker Jack
Installing isolation feet under a big floorstander usually takes two people: one to tip the cabinet, one to work underneath. With a 150 lb speaker, that's a careful dance. With a 400 lb speaker, it's a project. The F1 Speaker Jack turns it into a calm, one-person job. It lifts one side of the speaker, holds it there on its own, and leaves both of your hands free for the feet.
Lift one side, set the handle down, and both hands are free.
How It Works
Slide the F1 Jack under one side of the speaker and press the long handle down. The speaker rises. Keep pressing until the handle rests flat on the floor, and the jack's over-square frame holds the speaker in the raised position by itself. Remove the old spikes or feet, thread in your isolators, align them, and then raise the handle to lower the speaker gently back down. Move to the other side and repeat.
The same trick makes Carpet Discs easy to place and makes leveling adjustments painless later. IsoAcoustics publishes step-by-step F1 Jack instructions, and we're glad to walk you through it.
Where It Fits
The F1 Jack works with every GAIA isolator: GAIA, GAIA Neo, GAIA-TITAN, and GAIA-TITAN Neo. It earns its place fastest with heavy speakers, B&W 800 Series owners swapping wheels for the D3/D4/D5 Plates, and anyone who adjusts their setup often. Installers and dealers keep one on hand for the same reason we recommend it: it protects the speaker, the floor, and your back.
Press Recognition
Accessories rarely get reviews of their own. This one earns its credit as part of the GAIA Neo system, which has drawn praise from The Absolute Sound, Hi-Fi+, SoundStage! Ultra, StereoNet, Audiophilia, and Positive Feedback, and builds on a GAIA family named Stereophile's Accessory of the Year and an EISA Best Product. The full list of reviews lives on our IsoAcoustics GAIA Neo page.
Our own experience with GAIA under Bowers and Wilkins, Sonus faber, and Acoustic Energy speakers is simple: the details of the install decide how much of that improvement you hear. Accessories like this one are how you get every bit of it.
