Wireworld Platinum Eclipse 10 Interconnect

At the top of a great system, the interconnects stop being accessories and become part of the music's path. The Platinum Eclipse 10 is Wireworld's finest analog interconnect, built for listeners whose sources and amplifiers can reveal everything a cable adds or takes away.

The Design

The conductors are OCC-7N solid silver. OCC stands for Ohno Continuous Casting, a process that grows each strand as a nearly continuous crystal, and 7N means 99.99999% pure. Fewer crystal boundaries give the signal a smoother, more uniform path.

Those conductors are woven in Wireworld's patented Quad DNA Helix geometry, four helically twisted groups per polarity. Wireworld designs the DNA Helix to cancel interference and keep the signal's energy evenly distributed through the cable. Everything is insulated with COMPOSILEX 5, Wireworld's own material, which Wireworld engineered to minimize the static noise that cable insulation itself can generate.

The RCA plugs have carbon fiber bodies with silver-clad OFC contacts. The XLR versions use silver/copper alloy contacts.
